File management
N1ED provides a full spectre of features for managing your files and images: from uploading till image editing and publishing them.
File uploading
Upload images when you insert widgets
Uploading files and images is very easy with N1ED. You select a widget you wish to insert (Image, Image Preview or Image Gallery) and upload image or images. They will be stored on your server and inserted into the article you edit.
Installs everywhere
All uploads are handled with server-side script installed on your webserver. This script supports different server environments: PHP, Java, JavaScript and TypeScript backends (planned: ASP.NET).
Even if there is no server-side language in this list you still can install any of these versions due to it does not interfere with your CMS or framework: it only handles files in some directory you choose.
Integration with CMS
You can configure the script to use your existing file storage if you install it on already published website. If you use N1ED into Drupal 8 or 9 or Joomla 3, this script is already installed and preconfigured with all requirements of your CMS.
Custom integration
If you use custom CMS or framework, you can use Installation wizard to install the script manually. You just define an URL that will handle uploads, the directory where files will be stored on the server, URL prefix by which uploaded files will be available and magic begins.
Manage your files
N1ED is powered with the one of most powerful file managers: Flmngr.
Flmngr File Manager is a must-have add-on for TinyMCE, CKEditor and N1ED if you create content that’s heavy on images and embedded files. Making things a lot simpler, it turns uploading, sorting and managing files to much more efficient processes. Hence, allowing you to focus on creating content rather than on shipping files to it.
Standard set of features
Anything you can expect from file manager: showing image previews, filtering images by name, sorting, renaming, moving, deleting and editing them in image editor: all these features are available to you.
Effortless structuring
When working with image-heavy websites, structuring is a good way to ensure that every page displays proper images and those images are the most up-to-date. With File Manager you can organize your uploads into folders, and even download entire folders as ZIP files.
Simple browsing
File Manager offers the familiar two-panel browsing design with all the customary features: multi-selection, copying, moving, list view or thumbnail view. Find the files you need instantly thanks to quick search and preview images.
Seamless integration
File manager seamlessly blends with N1ED in all integrations (CKEditor, TinyMCE, Drupal, etc.). So whenever you click Browse
it pops up and offers an easy way to add non-text content to the edited page from any place: when creating new widget or changing an image in existing one.
